Tub is leaking from the valvesUpdated 2 months ago
🔧 Steps to Stop the Leak
1. Reapply Teflon Tape (Precision Seal Fix) Remove the fitting and apply an additional 3–4 layers of Teflon tape (included with your order) to the threaded connection. Wrap the tape tightly in the same direction as the threading to ensure it compresses and forms a tight, secure seal during reassembly.

2. Foolproof Quick Fix (If You Need It Stopped Now)
For a fast, reliable seal even if less visually clean wrap the Teflon tape 15–20 times around the outside of the exact joint where the leak is occurring. This creates an external seal barrier that effectively contains minor leaks, especially under light water pressure.

3. Secure the Connection
When reconnecting the fittings, hand-tighten first to align the threads, then use a wrench to give a firm but careful turn. Avoid overtightening, as excessive force can crack plastic fittings. The goal is a snug, watertight connection without stressing the hardware.
