D, CA & BT settings explainedUpdated 2 months ago

D setting:

The D setting determines how often your chiller will turn back on after it reaches the set temperature. If your D setting is set at 2°F, your chiller will cool to the set temperature, turn off, and start cooling again when the temperature has risen 2°F.

To set this setting follow the instructions below:

1. Press and hold the SET button for 3-5 seconds until the chiller shows the "HC" text on the display
2. Click the arrow UP button until you see “D” on the display
3. Click the SET button again (do not hold it down this time)
4. A number should appear, we recommend setting this number to 2 (Fahrenheit) if it isn't already.
5. Lastly, click the RST button once to save the setting.

In this case if you set the desired temperature at 40°F, and the "D" temperature at 2°F, then your chiller will cool the water to 40°F, then turn off and only start up again when the water temperature rises up to 42°F (40+2°F). If you set the D setting to 4, then the chiller would start at 44°F (40+4).

CA setting:

The CA setting is mainly used for repair and should not be adjusted. But in case your chiller shows a different temperature on the display than the actual water is, then it could have been set incorrectly and cause the chiller to turn off earlier than it should.

To set this setting follow the instructions below:

1. Press and hold the SET button for 3-5 seconds until the chiller shows the "HC" text on the display
2. Click the arrow UP button until you see CA on the display
3. Click the SET button again (do not hold it down this time)
4. A number should appear, this number should always be set at 0 (Fahrenheit) if it isn't already.

P7 setting (Only standard chiller):

The "P7" setting is factory set and should not be touched unless instructed to by our team.

To set this setting follow the instructions below:

1. Press and hold the SET button for 3-5 seconds until the chiller shows the "HC" text on the display
2. Click the arrow UP button until you see P7 on the display
3. Click the SET button again (do not hold it down this time)
4. A number should appear, this number should always be set at 3 (Fahrenheit) if it isn't already.
